My Question or Issue

My public playlists have stopped showing in my profile. Responses to other people who have had this problem recommend doing a clean reinstall, which includes deleting Spotify's caches from the library. Before doing that, I would like to know what information this will delete. Specifically, will it delete my playlists?

Thanks for asking!

 

Performing the steps for a complete clean reinstall only removes what is downloaded for offline listening. Your library items will remain intact, you will just need to re-download any of them you wish to have available offline.

 

Note that your app settings will also be reset to the defaults, so it's a good idea to make screenshots of them so you can quickly set them up the way you want them to be.
