Cleared caches in attempt to fix Spotify issue and lost all songs that aren't local files

My Question or Issue

My spotify was not letting me play certain artists so I was told to clear caches and redownload spotify. When I did this I lost all my songs on my playlists that weren't local files along with all the songs I had saved. I tried going to recover playlist but that did not work. How can I get all my songs that were on my playlists prior to my mistake back?

Not to worry, your Spotify playlists haven’t disappeared - it sounds like you might’ve accidentally created a second account and signed into that one instead. I'd recommend checking out the FAQ page "Can I create multiple accounts?" here for more info.

If you’re definitely logged into the right account, but you’re still not seeing some playlists, I’d suggest reading this Spotify Answer for the correct steps.
