My Question or Issue
Sometime recently, I don't know if it's after a Spotify update or a macOS update to Sonoma, my playlists view has started losing its position when I expand or close a playlist folder from the arrow icon. The view just insta-teleports back up some distance. The folder will change to its new state, but I have to scroll a long way down back to it.
This does not happen in the web player.
Context: I have a lot of playlist folders (100+), as this is the only way I can get a satisfactory, old-school minimalistic list of "all the albums of all the artists I care about". I create a playlist folder named after the artist, and save each album into its own playlist under that folder. All of my "loose" individual playlists are located before the folder section begins.
The "Your Library" section has "Playlists" selected (with neither of "By you" or "By Spotify" selected), with Custom order.
Version info:
Spotify for macOS (Intel)
1.2.43.420.gc7b23f70

Hey @elamaton,
Thank you for reaching out to the Community.
To start investigating this behavior, could you confirm if you've already performed a clean reinstall of the app? If not, we'd recommend following the steps mentioned in this article.
If the issue persists, would you mind having someone log in with their account on your device - such as a friend or a family member, to see if the issue persists. This will help us understand if it could be account-related or not.
Lastly and if possible, could you record a short video where we can take a better look? You can attach it to your next response by using the Insert Video option in the post editor. You can also upload it to YouTube or Google Drive and share the link with us (make sure the video has the permissions for anyone to watch it).
We'll be on the lookout.
Just noticed that this only happens with playlist folders that are some ways down the library sidebar. I just created a new one and near the top, expanding or closing it does not scroll the view. If I move it a long way down, the scrolling behavior will start.

Absurdly enough, an uninstall and cleaning of all Spotify files from under ~/Library, followed by a reinstall, actually fixed this problem. I was certain that the usual boilerplate solution would not do the trick, but here we are.
Thanks!
