Hide Recently Played Artists

I didn't want my recently played artists to show anymore and i have no idea how to hide it because every way required a the hide recently played artists button that isnt showing up for some reason. Is it not an option anymore or is my spotify being weird?

Thanks for reaching out about this on the Community!

In your mobile app, you should be able to toggle the show of Recently played content on or off for your profile as a whole. Here you can see how it's done.

Also, here users have gathered around an idea about the possibility to edit the recently played on their Home screen (in case this is what you mean, you can support them as well).

The "share my listening activity" setting only controls if what you are currently playing shows in the "Friend Feed" sidebar in the desktop app. The setting you want is "recently played artists" which should be showing under the same area as the "share my listening activity" setting. Right now there is an issue where the "recently played artists" setting is not showing in the desktop app and Android app for some users. The setting should still be showing up in the iOS app. The current workaround is if you have the iOS app, you can turn it off there. Hopefully this setting will return in a future update.
