Login problem dektop mac

I keep trying to log in to the app on my desktop through facebook (my account is linked, i've never unlinked it) and my facebook account is open and logged in on chrome. When spotify trys to log me in through facebook, it just opens up an error 403 message in the browser

My Facebook account is so old it's still linked to a university email account that is no longer open so please don't respond there.

That doesn't look cool.

Have you tried to clear your browser cache/cookies to see if that makes any difference?

Yes I tried that! Still getting the same error message. Thanks for the suggestion though!

Could you check if you're using a proxy or VPN that might block the connection to Spotify?
