Mac client not synchronising

Mac client not synchronising

Brief description of the issue:

The following are sequential and each one is a precondition to the previous:

I am using Spotify at work on a Linux PC and I'm adding from time to time some songs to my library. When I get home and I log into my Macbook, the songs I added  don't show up. If I check the song on my Android phone - it's there. If I play the song from the Android phone to my Macbook, it doesn't have that checkmark near the title, but has the plus sign. If I remove any song through the Android phone that song gets removed from the Mac client in real time.

I'm guessing it's an issue with the Mac Client being offline while adding songs and not trying to sync at all what previously happened? 🙂

Steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Add songs to library from another Spotify terminal (any I guess works, Linux, Phones, etc.)
  2. Log into the Mac, open Spotify
  3. Songs not there

What steps you’ve tried already: reinstall
