My Question or Issue

When using the spotify mac desktop app, my cpu use often goes to 100%. The process using so many resources is "runningboardd". If I quit Spotify, the CPU immediately goes back to normal.

I have done a full uninstall and reinstall, as well as tried other suggestions from other people who have CPU issues, including turning off local files.

This makes the desktop app unusable.
