Hi! I upgraded to 12.5.1, and Spotify was uninstalled in the process. When I try to reinstall it, the installer won't get passed the "Installing Spotify" stage

Hey @alez76,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community about this.

We'd recommend clearing all Spotify files from your computer. Those can cause errors with installing a newer version of the app if an installation has failed in the past. You can follow the steps here.

After that download the latest Spotify version directly from our official website. Make sure to check whether you have any Firewall enabled and turn it off prior to installation process.

If the above doesn't help, then please return with a short video of what's exactly happening on your end, so we can take a closer look and advise you better.

Hope this helps. Let us know how you get on.

Open the 'Applications' section and swipe right to the 'All' tab and then find 'Google Play Store'. Open this up and tap 'Clear data. Now reboot your phone, open the Play Store, and re log in. Afterward try to install the Spotify app again

Regards,

Will
