Not sure what happened but up until a few days ago my radio area was working fine and now all of a sudden starting a day ago or so I can't load my radio section at all or create new artist radio's.
I'm on a mac and I've tried completely uninstalling Spotify and removing all cache/preference files and still the same after a clean reinstall.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Got it working again.
I closed Spotify, then renamed the folder c:\users\<username>\appdata\loca\spotify to _spotify (or simply delete it), restarted the client and everything is fine.
Post with correct folder locations
This also fixed the right panel where news from artists appear which i follow. I'm seeing that for the first time now 🙂
Had the same problem. This fixed it for me on a Mac-
Turned the app on on my iphone while Spotify was open on my computer. Started playing the radio from my iphone (control computer from iphone app). When I switched back to the computer, the problem was gone. Bizarre, but spotify has a bug and the admin don't seem to have any idea or care.
Hi there,
Welcome at the Spotify Community!
When you go to the webplayer, does it then work for you?
Otherwise, you may get in touch with Spotify via their Twitter page (@SpotifyCares), or by following this link to send an e-mail.
If you send an e-mail, please check your inbox (and spam box) to check for their automatic reply. Once you get it, please reply to it immediatly (even if it's from an no-reply e-mail addres) to make sure an Spotify employee will get back to you as soon as possible.
hi, i have the same problem with the windows desktop application, as well as with the web player. The radio doesn´t load as well as "Browse", which is a little bit more annoying. It first appeard 2 days ago.
Edit: After reinstalling spotify, it works only for the first time. Afterward, i get that loading icon
I'm having the same problem. The Spotify Player does not load any online or not-cached content. I uninstalled it, cleaned everything, reinstalled it to another location and still the same problem. The Webplayer worked for the first start. After logging out and in again i cant see any content. Please help!

Had the same problem too yesterday, but it is not limited to Radio: artist, album, etc... pages wouldn't load!
It was solved by deleting the data folder as suggested by DocEndstufe, and restarting the client.
But it is really A BIG and BLOCKING issue for most of the users who are not going to read this forum, I have the feeling that this problem may have impacted a lot of people.
I did this, but it didn't solve things for me, in stead it made it worse by making my right panel go emtpy 😞
Have the same problem here, but on a Mac.
Did anybody figure out how to solve this on an iMac?
Edit:
just figured out myself: removed the spotify app using AppZapper (removes all files related to spotify), then reinstalled.
Works fine now...
Think I solved it and now it seems to load! Actually I did't manage to find the directories "com.spotify.Client" and "Application Support" in the Library before... But I ultimately deleted them and followed the instructions suggested by the site for a clean reinstallation. Hope it helps
Just to clarify: I recently switched to Yosemite on Mac and I'm finding a lot of problems I never had with Mavericks... I'm really disappointed and waiting for an upgrade
Sorry this doesn't help with those of us on OS X/Mac (Accepted solution which I didn't accept)
I've already tried uninstalling Spotify completely manually, through CleanMyMac and even AppZapper, all with the same result after reinstalling spotify after.
Also I tried it on the webplayer and oddily it's the same, radio won't load
I did exactly what you said.
Thank you, thank you, thank you...It works perfectly now!
mine fixed itself
I was having this issue as well on Windows 8.1. I found that in addition to clearing out the Spotify AppData folder I also had to delete the Spotify Temp folder, which I have on a separate drive.
Still not working here and I find it odd it doesn't work through the Desktop App nor the Web Player.
When my radio was not working I also saw that both the desktop and web apps were broken. Both were fixed when I cleared the temp folder.
Are there any other folders that Spofiy uses on a Mac? I would clear out all the Spotify related folders that I can find, ensuring that Spotify has fully closed down first. On Windows it stays active after the window is closed, and has to be closed properly via the sys tray icon. No idea if this is the same for a Mac. Apologies if I am stating the obvious.
I've tried clearing all to my knowledge manually and also through Apps that help uninstall and remove all application files.
I just tried on another computer (Windows) and still having the same issue...
Also It looks like it's failing to download a jquery file which might be the culprit not allowing the Radio to load... where are the Spotify Dev's sigh:
I am also get a 404 on the jquery.min.map file, along with:
These are the only 404s I get when I use the radio in the web app. I also get the following javascript errors:
Are you seeing any more 404s or script errors? Have you tried clearing your browser cache and refreshing with Control+F5?
Yes I've tried clearing cache and also noticed the same issue on another computer altogether.
Oddly it looks like my radio section is working fine now, I'll see if it lasts hopefully.
