Was just having the same problem. Tried reinstalling it but it didn't work. Solved it by simply logging out and then logging in again.
It worked! Thank you @Kaio7 🙏
I had the same problem and resolved as suggested by simply logging out and logging in. Thanks! Screen looked like attached running Tahoe 26.1 and Spotify for macOS (Apple Silicon) 1.2.79.427.g80eb4a07...
I experienced this same issue on my MacBook Air - Spotify alternating between not loading & taking very long time to load (with no songs playable). I updated uninstalled/reinstalled Spotify (didn't work), then updated my Mac software to the latest version of Tahoe (didn't work), uninstalled/reinstalled Spotify again (didn't work), then waited a while for Spotify to load enough that I had the option to log off / log back in. It worked again the moment I logged back in.

I'm having no problems using the web player, but the mac app is experiencing the same problems that have been mentioned above. I changed the proxy setting, don't use vpn, and didn't see where the hardware acceleration setting is, but I didn't want to do the settings changes OscarDC mentioned on Jan 11 2026 because my web player does work. Just not the mac app. I'm using a M4 Mac Mini
Mine won't even show up on my iMac. It may just be because it is late 2013.
