Hello,
Spotify won't load the social activity bar, friends profiles or artist pages (remain blank, with a find people tab on the SB). It's working other than that. Happened after I installed the update this morning. Tried loading a previous version, that will open artist pages, but not the social bar (and it updates itself pretty sharpish).
I'm a premium user on a mac running OS X 10.7.5
Any ideas?

Yes, some sort of estimate would be appreciated as I feel frustrated that as a premium user, I am paying for services I am not even able to use properly. My wife and I share playlists back and forth, and since I am unable to view her account I can't access any of them right now. I realize the premium service's main intention is to remove ads and support Spotify, but if I can't even listen to the music I want then its being ad-free isn't as useful. 😞

Hi dahowitzer - Are you unable to see user profiles at the moment? I believe you're experiencing this issue here.
Please try signing out and signing back in again--let us know if you still can't see those profiles.

I'm using Windows 7. I've tried doing clean reinstallations twice; once with the version presently on the website, and then with v0.9.1.53. Still no luck, each time the activity feed returns to the same stalled point it was at a week ago.
Any ideas?
Activity feed stopped working. It worked for 5 days. Why does it take so long to fix this??? Please give the previous version back!!!
It's taking this long because these guys are not investing enough to resolve this issue.
I'm afraid we've been VERY patient up until now and the complete lack of progress on resolving this issue means that Spotify no longer justifies its subscription policy versus other alternative free sites. I guess this issue is just not affecting enough people for Spotify to care about resolving it quickly or efficiently... because they have been neither!! Shame, because up until now they've been pretty good, in my book, but this is a major system failure which is just not being addressed... maybe they should wake up and realise what's at stake here!

Not sure i have exactly the same issue, but when i click on an artist or an album or a song time after i have preformed a search, or in the discover window, i get an error message 'Missing Dependencies Framework Compatible with artist-shared (version 0.3.5) does not exist.' Tried downloading the latest version, which is the one i'm having issues with.
Working on a windows 7 laptop and using spotify desktop as not able to use the webplayer on my network.
Using SPotify 0.9.1.53.g876fa9df. Didnt have issues before i updgraded to the latest issue, but i tried using an older download link and ended up with the same.

Just chipping in. I have the same issue, I think it's been the case for about a week. I can view other profiles etc, its just the activity feed isn't working.
I have my Follow details back, but I still can't view an artists profile, all I see is their discography and a blank page for their Overview unless they had created or updated a playlist recently. No artist details though.
Windows 7, fresh instal from yesterday.
My Activity feed is dead again. It worked for about 3 days, now it will not update. Reinstalled the application several times, same problem as always! I'm a premium user since Day1 in my country!
I'm about to pay for my subscription in a few days, but I really dont know if I want to anymore.
WILL this be fixed, or should I find another streaming service from now on?

Activity feed is not updating, thats the issue....
When a friend I follow plays a track, I cant see it in the activity feed and they cant see what I am listening.
Appreciate its not your fault, but we are going round in circles here and its getting embarassing for spotify.
Just to add, AGAIN, why are you still asking for us to do clean installs, as we have all done this to death.
If you say that spotify tech have fixed the issue, but we need to cleanly install the program again for it to work, then I will, but I'm not blindly doing it again!
Ive done about 10 clean reinstallations since it stopped working and still no luck.

Yes! Finally... Just did a clean reinstallation again and what I hoped happened now: the activity bar works again!!!!!
It took quite some time. I hope this will last...
