Hello,
Spotify won't load the social activity bar, friends profiles or artist pages (remain blank, with a find people tab on the SB). It's working other than that. Happened after I installed the update this morning. Tried loading a previous version, that will open artist pages, but not the social bar (and it updates itself pretty sharpish).
I'm a premium user on a mac running OS X 10.7.5
Any ideas?

Today when i started up my laptop, Spotify was back to his old not updating status. Al the updates from the day before where gone.. So its not working anymore... Getting kinda anoying at this point! So Spotify, start communicate with us (the customers) because i have the feeling that we are ignored....

It updated for the first time in ages yesterday - but yes, today it is back to not updating - so still not working.
Now it seems to be working... I'll keep my fingers crossed.
Well, it was not working this morning... Later it worked, but only partly. Now its again failing to syncronize! So, Spotify unfreeze the system please.... Or atleast can someone give us feedback about this issue?

OK... enough is enough... I've cancelled my subscription. This issue has been going on for months and Spotify seem incapable of resolving it. Until such time as they do I don't see why I should be paying for services I'm not receiving (compared to other free sites) and I suggest others do the same... maybe that way Spotify will see how important this issue is, get their fingers out and actually fix it.
Same here, canceling my subscription aswell, the funny thing is when i was a non paying user it was working splendid! So Spotify, im very dissapointent with no kind of solution, feedback or whatsoever! Not willing to waste a buck on this service again if its like this! And thank you for giving people the motivation to create a new and better program!

Ha! Guys, you know what's new now? Spotify isn't free any more, there's a 10 hours per month limit like on Deezer.
That's their solution: reducing users, they can't manage so many I guess.
If you have some problems loading pages in Spotify, try to re-install app and after reboot, just install back and let me know, how it's working!!!
Yes, the activity feed stops updating at times for me as well. Has this been fixed yet? Why isn't there communication about this? Or rather perhaps, why is this in the app if it actually doesn't work. I'm also a premium subscriber and it would be nice if this actually worked.
I continue to have the same problems with my "Activity" (or really lack there of) as EVERYONE ELSE it seems. I continue to ask for help from Spotify directly, and try every approach discussed within these forums, and nothing ever corrects the problem. I have had so many problems, as have my students, that this discussion has become a topic discussed every year semester in my internet marketing course. SMH. Below is the most recent response I received concerning the problem, but again the excuse provided doesn't work with reality as my feed continues to show the same two songs as it has for the last several months... Hard to imagine that a company's who's core value proposition is the social component to music can't get it right/fixed.

"When it comes to our Feed, we've now changed it slightly. This is just to stop the amount of Feeds we end up spamming with updates.
What we've now started to do is show you the favourite tracks of your friends from the previous day. This way if you decide to listen to the song with them, you know it's something they're actually really enjoying.
Hopefully this will allow you and your friends to enjoy more songs together and share in each others musical experiences.
I hope this helps explain what our Feed's currently doing, if you do have any questions please do get back to me."
Everytime I open/reopen Spotify on my Macbook Pro I see ONE "activity" (one persone's activity).
When I shut down and reopen (or open some time later) I see ONE "activity" (one persone's activity) but it is a different user.
Where is my stream? Please fix, I liked this feature...

Me too, now I can see live the activity feed of one of my friends - but only this one, and it disappears at new launching.

activity feed not updating... once again... unbelievable!
Hi Spotify "tech" guys,
just to let you know that my account is a real "bull**bleep**": activity feed is just stucked for weeks, the number of my followers and number of accounts that I am "trying" to follow are both wrong...It is totally inacceptable ! (but considering the previous post, I assume that you already know that...).
Another thing, I am a premium user since 2011...and have a friend who is a free user, and everything works perfectly for him !!!

Sorry to labour this point everyone but given their incapacity or unwillingness to fix this issue for many months now, the ONLY way to pressure them is by cancelling your subsription. I did so several weeks ago and if it begins to hurt their top-line then they will likely act. Not exactly suggesting a class action here but if everyone would follow my and other's leads and use an alternative or put up with adverts for a while then we may find this becomes a Spotify priority.

Thank you for the update Meredith but actions not words will resolve people's extreme frustration and impatience. After three months of "we're working on it" without any demonstrable success you will forgive me for simply not believing this is in any way a priority issue.

There are a lot of other music streaming services out there that work just fine...... I'm just sayin..!!

Anyway, if this selective activity roll is what they are going for, it's kinda annoying because I think that most of us liked the "live" aspect of the activity bar.
P.S. My activity bar has been frozen for a couple of months, then it worked for a couple of weeks and now it's frozen again.
