Spotify won't play newly released music

Spotify won't play any music that has recently been released. The album cover won't show when I click on it and nothing plays. I've already done a clean install but that didn't fix it.

 

All other music works fine, it's just new music. It's very strange and annoying.

 

Someone else had this problem as well and it was solved but they had Windows, so that didn't help me.

Could you check if you're having the same issue as the other users in this thread?

If you do, please try the steps provided there for Mac users, those steps can also be found in this Spotify Answer.

 

If possible, I'd recommend updating to macOS Mojave 10.14.4

It's not the same unfortunately. My playlists are fine, everything except for 'New Releases' is working fine and normal. I'll try the update, though! 

I fixed it by replacing and editing the host file!
