Sync local files to 2nd computer (macbook)

Sync local files to 2nd computer (macbook)

Spotify 1.pngSpotify 2.png

I have two Macbooks.  In the first picture, you can see all the songs are available.  In the second picture, there are three files that are greyed out.  You can see both computers are on the same network.  The local files sync to my iPhone eventually, with some tinkering.

I have Spotify Premium, USA.  The first Macbook Pro is 2021 14 inch.  The second Macbook Pro is 2014 13 inch.  Both using the latest Spotify app and fully updated.

Hi @pdkang,

there seems to be some confusion. It's not possible to sync local files between desktop devices over the network.

You will need to copy the actual files over to your second Macbook and enable the Local Files function in the settings and add the relevant sources from the Macbook's storage.

Hope that clears things up, let us know if you have other questions.
