About a month ago, Spotify started crackling and lagging for no reason.

About a month ago, Spotify started crackling and lagging for no reason. It only happens on my Macbook Pro, not on my phone or regular PC. I've updated and reinstalled Spotify and downgraded and upgraded my OS. I have no idea where to go from here.

macbook app issues

any options to remedy the crazy slow response of the opening and playback on macbooks? there is a serious delay issue in opening, re-starting after a delay etc of the app on macbook. Have deleted the app and reinstall and no remedy.
