when playing a playlist, Spotify chooses random songs not from the selected playlist

Today when playing any playlist on my mac client, spotify does not stay on the playlist I select, and randomly selects other songs from my all liked songs.

Thank you for reaching out to the Community. This seems odd. Let's take a closer look into this.

Can you start with making sure that there's no old cache files causing this by following the steps that's provided in this article?

If that doesn't do the trick, can you have someone log in with their account on your device - such as a friend or a family member to see if the issue persists? This will help us understand if it's account related or not.

Hi, it seems clearing the cache actually solved it.

The way to reproduce it was simple :

1. double click any of my playlists
2. having shuffle and repeat ON
3. just skip songs or just let them play

Normally immediately the 2nd song was already not from the selected
playlist, but I cannot tell you what created the issue.
