After a Search, can only scroll through about 80 songs

My Question or Issue

Starting a few weeks ago, after I do a Search on my desktop PC, for a generic word (e.g. "army" or "castles"), I can't scroll beyond 80 or so songs. I get the "processing" wheel at the bottom of the list. I can't scroll beyond those songs. The processing wheel keeps going for minutes. No new songs are added to the list. Two screenshots attached.
