Airpods suddenly no sound though spotify is playing

My Question or Issue

i am using 1st and 2nd gen airpods, and while listening to some music all of sudden no audio coming from my airpods even though spotify is still playing and the bluetooth is still connected to my laptop. It happens all the time, can you suggest how to solve this matter?

Thanks for reaching out to the Community.

Have you tried unpairing/forgetting the airpods from your PC? When paired anew, the connection will be built from the ground up, this tends to solve similar issues.

If that doesn't do the trick, try clean reinstalling the Spotify app. Note that we recommend using the app version from the Microsoft Store, as it's the one best optimized for Windows 10.
