All of my Local Files do not allow me to go to the existing artist or album on Spotify. Recently I turned off Local Files for my Music Library to test something. When I turned it back on, nothing was matched up to the already existing song on Spotify.
How do I fix this?
OS: Windows 10 Pro
Spotify Version: 1.0.73.345.g6c9971ef
I checked one of your songs and found: 1. The artist tag in your file says "30 Seconds to Mars" and the song on Spotify says "Thirty Seconds To Mars" and 2. that your song is named "Attack" and on Spotify its name is "ATTACK". This might be the reason why Spotify can't link your files tags to the matching file/artist/album on Spotify.
Even if the metadata for those songs doesn't match up, that doesn't explain why every other song is grayed out too.
It was working before recent updates.
I have the same problem, drives me insane.
Same problem and I'd love a fix. Tried reinstalling Spotify, deleting the file cache, and creating a new local file source but nothing helped.
I'm having the exact same issue. Has anybody found a solution yet? I posted about this on Reddit too with no response.
