App freezes often

The Windows app freezes very often and does not respond any longer

If you are using the Windows Store version, you may want to switch to the regular desktop version, it's much smoother in my experience and that may solve your issue.

It is better to avoide the windows apps, why? because everytime windows update their system, so the application need an update, I know you are asking what is the relation between the windows update and the windows apps?

The windows apps have a shared document with windows update in system, so everytime windows update, they update the codes in this shared documents, so the application need a new codes to work with this new update windows.

About a desktop application, they have their private local documents with their stable codes.

So I suggest you like DarkerValleys did, to Install spotify from here,
