My Question or Issue
Clicking on artist only shows top 5 or 10 popular songs and their discography, how can I access their entire song list in one page (preferably sorted by albums) like previously when the UI was not god's answer for the sins of men?
Hey @Kuyosakee,
Thanks for posting in the Community.
When you navigate to the Albums section of an artist page, there should be an icon on the right that allows you to expand the albums and their contents in a list view. If you dent see that option available, it's a good idea to clean reinstall the app. This removes any corrupted files that might be rendering Spotify to malfunction.
If that doesn't fix things, could you send a couple of screenshots of what you see when you open an artist page? You can attach them to your post vie the Insert Photo option in the post editor.
Keep us posted. We’ll keep an eye out for your reply.
what do you mean by Artist's "album section", you mean discography? I reinstalled spotify and it's the same as before
Hey @Kuyosakee,
Thanks for getting back to us.
Could you send us a screenshot of what you see when you open an artist page and scroll a bit further down on the overview? There you should be able to see all their albums and on the far right of the screen see the option to have them presented in a list view.
Thanks again 🙂
this is just under the top 5 songs at the top of the artist's page, you can see the 5th top song
in a perfect world where UI updates actually aren't contraproductive, you would see their latest album with a list of songs after which would be another album with list of songs etc. etc.... but all I see is this (screenshot) and when I click on the "see all" on the right of the discography section, I get taken to the album list (previous screenshot)
Hey @Kuyosakee,
Thanks for getting back to us and for the screenshots.
We appreciate your report about this behavior and passed it along to the right folks at out developer team. We're constantly running tests in order to provide you with the best music experience possible. So it's possible that you might see something on the app your friend doesn’t, or get a brand-new feature for only a temporary period.
