When playing a song from Tiësto, the 'ë' is being replaced with a strange string. This issue only occurs in the 'what is playing now' section.

Thanks for reaching out. This is quite strange. So far we've been unable to reproduce this. Could you please provide us the following:

  • Is this on all devices or only on Windows? What about the webplayer?
  • When did this start happening?
  • Does this happen on all songs or only that one?

With this information, we’d be happy to investigate.

Sorry for my late reaction, i just saw the bug again. but now on a differt artist name. it is the same on the special characters (see screenshot).

Is this on all devices or only on Windows? What about the webplayer?
No on the Webplayer the special characters are showed correctly.

Thanks for the reply. Were you able to test on other devices? If so, what was the behaviour there? If not, please try and do so if possible. In the meantime, try performing a full clean reinstall on the affected desktop to clear any possible damaged cache that may be causing this. These steps are known to fix a multitude of issues, so fingers crossed that this is the case here too.
