Can I filter Playlists search by most number of Followers?

Can I filter Playlists by most number of Followers?

Like in YouTube you can filter by view count.

Hi there @MistaMusik, thats not currently an option in Spotify, but if you think this would be a great idea, you can search for simmilar idea here, and if there is, be sure to vote for it to show your support. If there aren`t any ideas like that, you can submit yours as a new idea here!

This to me seems like the most obvious need and it’s what makes Spotify in my opinion very lousy. Every time I put in something like house music, I’m getting playlists in the first four shown that have less than 100 followers, that is such a waste of time That have more and more followers are going to automatically be better and better, I don’t have time listening to random playlists and it takes forever to find a playlist based on number of followers?! How is this not obvious what am I missing?

One thing you’re missing is that playlists also gain more followers over time based on these algorithms. Which means there are lots of solid playlists that don’t get seen and used. Which just keeps the cycle going. In part, anyways.
