Issue

"Search in playlist" button has an area that, when pressed, does not display the search input field, but the search functionality is still active, allowing text input to trigger a search without the input field being visible.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open a playlist
  2. Press the specific area on the "Search in playlist" button (demonstrated in the attached video) where the search input field does not appear.

Expected result:

The search input field appears, allowing the user to type in their search query and perform a search within the playlist.

Actual result:

The search input field does not appear, but the search functionality is still active. The user can type their search query, and the search is performed even though the input field is not visible.

Hey there @Raama! Thanks for posting here in the Community, and welcome! ๐Ÿ™‚

This is indeed a weird behavior. Can you double-check if you don't have any pending updates available by clicking on the three dots (...) > HelpAbout Spotify.

If you have installed it through the Microsoft Store, you can check it by going to your Library.

My laptop is running the latest version of Spotify for Windows (64-bit) 1.2.38.720 and I couldn't reproduce the same behavior.

If you are running the latest one, can you try a clean reinstall by following these steps to see if it helps?

Looking out to your reply
