My Question or Issue

On my Windows machine at work, I have do a workaround to install and update Spotify because the appdata\roaming folder is not allowed to run apps.  Here's the workaround I use:

https://community.spotify.com/t5/Desktop-Windows/Install-amp-Launch-Errors-Error-Code-53-Error-Code-...

Now, this works fine, except now my buttons and icones within the app appear as rectangles.  I've attached a screenshot for reference.  Look at the shuffle/back/pplay|pause/forward buttons for example.

I reached out to Spotify Support, and they suggested I reinstall Spotify.  I did this, which was a real pain, because Spotify wants to install from the appdata folder.  Anyway, I was able to get a full download version of Spotify and reinstalled an older version, which fixed my problem.  After one day though, Spotify updated and I'm back to looking at this ugly version.

Spotify Support then suggested I get my administrator to enable exe files from the appdata folder.  Is there any better solution?
