My Question or Issue

Hi,

Is it somehow possible to hide songs of others' playlist on the web version? I can do it on my mobile but when i play the playlist in web, then the hidden songs are also played, like it totally ignores that i previously had hidden them.

I'm talking about the web browser Spotify, NOT the desktop app (I have company laptop so i can't download the desktop app to the laptop, please don't reco that...). When I click the three dots next to the songs, there is no  possibility coming up to hide them. It's driving me crazy and i really don't understand why this feature is missing, especially if I'm paying subscription for crying out loud. Value customers...

Thanks.

Hey @miraxterrik

Welcome to the Community!

Currently, there is no option on the web player to hide the songs you don't like on other people's playlists. However, we understand why this would be important.

If you'd like to have this feature in the future, you can leave a vote on this existing idea and if you think this function should sync across all devices it's well worth adding your vote on this one as well.

Truly embarrassing for spotify that this is still not a feature on the web player... Completely worthless app without this feature

why is this feature still not in the web player?

Why IS this feature still not in the web player? I'd be happy for just a hide option somewhere please

it's mid 2024 now and still this absolute basic functionality is missing in the webplayer and the terrible desktop app, you want us to use, is exactly the same shitshow.
