Can no log in in desktop app (Windows) with facebook, shows "error: 8"

Hi.

I am having a problem trying to log in using the facebook button in my personal notebook (windows 10) , looks like is a problem with the proxy and shows a red sin with error: 8 after a few minutes of trying to log in. plis I ned a solution because I use spotify in the desktop app most of the time. (sorry my bad inglish, it's not my strong lenguage)

But sadly it doesn't worked, actually the red sin isn't appearing anymore, just the facebook log in doesn't work at all.

Do you have another possible way or post to solve my problem?

Did you solve your problem? I have the same message with the proxy in my computer.

Yes!, I actually did. I just entered in my account profile in the spotify web and set the password for devices, then I entered usin the "user name" they gave me for my account and the password I set instead of the facebook login. 😉
