Can't log in to my account.

Solved!

Can't log in to my account.

Hey! I've had this problem for 2-3 days where i can't log into my account. I've tried logging in via Facebook but then nothing happens. When i try to log in normally (as seen in the picture i added) It just stands still forever (I've tried waiting for several hours without anything happening). I also tried reinstalling, but the same thing happens. I tried checking the forum- no answers. I'm currently running on Windows 10.

Downloaded an older version (1.0.64.407) So im guessing this is a recent issue with the newer updates. It worked just fine now!

Update: I fixed it by pulling the prefs file (located at C:\Users\*your username*\AppData\Roaming\Spotify) from my backup and putting it in the same place on my new machine. Let me in no problem. This is only a solution, of course, if you have a working Spotify setup on another machine or a backup.

It just happened to me again.
If by any chance someone else stumbles upon this thread; try checking your firewall settings. Personally i have Mcafee, and it blocked spotify! It's all good now!

This is happening to me as well on Windows 7. It's my work PC running on a corporate network, but it used to work fine. I just wiped my computer for unrelated reasons and had to redownload Spotify, now it won't let me log in.
