Can't play music from the Spotify app but can do it in the spotify web Browser

My Question or Issue

I can't play music while I'm in the Spotify App in my desktop. But if I go over to the Webbrowser, I can play music from my playlists easily. When I try on the app, it says "Spotify cannot play this content at the moment. If you have the file on your computer, you can import it."

Anyone knows anything that could help me? I've already uninstalled and reinstalled it many times, but nothing seems to work out.

We'd recommend to start with logging out > restarting your device > logging back in. 

It's also a good idea to check if your sound drivers are up to date.

Just to confirm, have you tried with a clean reinstall instead of a regular one with the steps here to make sure that all old files that might be causing trouble are gone.

In case the issue persists, could you ask a friend or a family member to log in on your computer and test this out to see if they get the same issue?
