Can't search/filter by year in application anymore?

Hello.

Tried a search within the Windows application, year:1990-1999, which worked fine before, didn't work. Tried in the android application too. But no luck there either.

Tried differens terms like years: and "year:1990, 1991" and so on. But it didn't help.

But then i tried in the web player, and there it worked!

So now i wounder why? Was this feature removed for the spotify applications?

Will it be removed in the web player further down the line?

Has the search temology changed within the apps?

You can support this idea to bring Advanced Searching back.

Right now only artist:, album:, and track: are available as search options.
