Have the same issue on Win 10 app, chrome browser and Android. But right now the the browser version only works.

Can't find any artist using client search.
Same here on Windows 8.1, in England. For me, the 'search' feature only shows local files. Not impressed that a bug such as this got through testing (if there was any).

Reinstalled, cleaned appdata folder, used offline installer and still nothing.
Same do I and my whole family (with Family premium). Search not working on any hardware, nor iPhones, nor Xiaomi, nor my Windows PC (even after reinstallation of Spotify). Country CZ

What a piece**bleep** Spotify is at the moment! Searching doesn't work at all on my Android phone, and I see lots of people have the same problem! I have a premium family subscription and my patience is running out! Get this fixed immidiately! And post information in the community about the problem.

It seems that Spotify is having trouble with this across all of its platforms that is stemming from the new update. We hope that they will fix this quickly.
Just know that you are not the only one experiencing problems with this as I am having trouble as well.
