Can't see the activity feed of the people I follow

I used to be able to see what the friends I follow were listening to.
Now I have this "see what your friends are playing" bar on the right and can't see what my friends are listening to anymore.
Can anyone help?

same here. it shows your friends if you unfollow them and follow them back. but everytime you close and restart the app you will get the same problem as described by the OP. hopefully this is solved in a few days. I think its sad that several social functions gettin broke by time. its a usufull feature for me and i also would use it one the mobile version aswell.

I have the same problem. Unfollowing and refollowing friends brings them back, but they disappeared again the next day.

yep, same thing's happened to me. i thought i had it fixed but then i minimized spotify for a second and when i went maximum again they were gone. i had some people from spotify support try to help me and even THEY didn't know what to do. it seems like i've done virtually everything imaginable to fix it and ITS STILL MESSED UP

I know right. You'd think that they themselves as employees would know what to do. That's just ridiculous. Spotify's employees should be in these forums and fixing these problems, I understand not every problem can be resolved, but little problems like this shouldn't be ignored. Spotify needs to start listening to people and stop ignoring them. Without us they wouldn't be this big.

with an issue like this one growing in popularity you’d think they’d have someone on it already. seems like every support person i get tells me the same thing—uninstall. reinstall. restart your computer. it’s a problem to do with MY account though—not the computer. i logged into my friend’s account on the same app i use for my account and his works fine. have you or anyone reading this tried logging into another spotify acc?? because i think it has more to do with personal accounts than app malfunctions.

Login with another account worked for me. So it seems like it's really a problem with specific accounts. I'm loged in via Facebook on the working one and on my private account aswell. My normal acc shows the problem over and over.

one of the spotify workers i contacted for support said they notified the issue to developers, but idk how reliable that’ll be. it’s really irritating. almost been a week since my account has been messed up ugh.

My friend activity feed disappeared a few days ago. I went through and added some different people from the facebook list and it added some of them. The next day, everyone was gone again. I can't seem to get anyone to stick.

I lost my 4 out of 5 of the friends in my activity feed yesterday. One of them remains. This is the second time for me (I posted about it up the thread). I thought I'd note what preceded the disappearance this time in the hope it will help inform a solution. I was using wi-fi in corporate environment. I turned off the wi-fi to attempt to plug directly into the corp ethernet connection in another cube. The ethernet connection didn't work (and still doesn't). I unplugged and when I connected again to wi-fi, the feeds were gone. I hope Spotify can resolve this.

mine is back to normal! what had happened before mine got messed up was my computer being slow so i closed the app and tried to open it again. just really basic...but as of yesterday or maybe the day before it’s been perfectly fine. i’m assuming spotify is already on it now. hope yours is better soon
