Can't skip ads on desktop anymore. I used to be able to do this for free but now it won't let me.

Please note that you can't skip ads in the free tier. Spotify depends on those ads to offer users their great service for free! 

You still can subscribe to their Premium service which offers you an ad-free experience, the ability to save songs offline and much more 🙂

I actually could skip ads before tho. Like on my desktop. I didnt have premium either.

Same here, for like two years I was able to skip every Ad and up until a few days ago, I couldn't skip anything? My acount has always been on the free trial and I got used to basically no ads.

The information on the support section of spotify states;

For: Spotify free

You can choose to skip audio and video ads. Skips are unlimited!

This is apparently not the case. Either change the support section, or (preferably) let us skip ads.

Spotify on my desktop has ads now that are unskippable. I get five ads in a row that are unskippable and that never used to happen before. Any tips on how to change this?
