Cannot login via Windows Vista plus FaceBook

My Question or Issue

 I use free Spotify and login via my Facebook profile. Works fine on my newer PC with Windows-10 and on my Android tablet from Verizon. But will not work on our older laptop with Windows Vista op.sys. Google Chrome says your WebPlayer is not supported by this O.S. So I downloaded your desktop app for Vista. It loads the login screen fine … but when I click the "login via FaceBook" button it just shows a blank white page/screen in Google Chrome. It seems to not redirect to the shopify/facebook-login URL needed to proceed.  Also tried manually inputting my FaceBook email and password in your app's non-FB login areas [because this forum suggested that] but it then gave me Error Code 3.  Any ideas, fixes?  Thanks.
