My Question or Issue I am part of a family plan. My family members permanently moved to Berlin and I am now in South Africa. I cannot change my region without changing my payment method, but I'm not the one paying and I need to organise my playlists with the desktop app. This is frustrating! I'm considering taking on a different service and exporting my playlists. Would love to rather use Spotify but I see no way out...

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community.

 

If you're member of a Family plan, you won't be able to update your Country settings as they depend on the plan's owner. At this point, you should consider starting an individual subscription or simply leaving the plan (since you and the other members are not living together anymore) in order to update your Country settings. You won't lose any of your music in the process.
