My Question or Issue

Shutting down NTB Windows 10 with stopped Spotify starts up receiver which must be put manually to standby again. This is annoying and wasn't happening until few weeks ago.

Thanks for posting on the Community. 

 

Could you tell us if this behavior started after a recent update? Also, we recommend checking if there's any firmware update available for your Yamaha device. 

 

Lastly, send us over the Spotify version installed on your computer and let us know if this happens with another audio streaming service (if possible).

It is possible this behavior started after a recent update (I do not update manually).

I have updated Yamaha firmware but the problem remains.

I do not have another Spotify Connect device.

Spotify Windows version: 1.1.87.612.gf8d110e2

Thanks for the reply.

 

Sometimes the firmware updates of external devices and the Spotify app updates can be a little out of phase. Would it be possible for you to perform a factory reset of the receiver to see if the issue is persistent? This way we can narrow down the reasons for the issue.

 

But this behavior looks like related to the particular device. Could you also contact the manufacturer?
