Cycling of playlists in Android app doesn't happen in the desktop version.

My Question or Issue

I mainly use Spotify on my phone but have recently been using it more on the my desktop. One feature I find particularly good on the Android app is the cycling of the most recently played playlist to the top of the playlist folder. This helps me to know what lists haven't been played for a while, they're at the bottom, so I'm not playing certain lists over and over again (unless I want to).

My desktop library doesn't do this, the playlist order within folders only changes if I drag and drop them. Is the functionality described above available in the desktop version at all?

On that note, I find it irritating that the Android app and desktop version are sometimes not streamlined in terms of functionality. Case in point, I have a lot of playlists organised in folders and you can't move folders in the Android app library, it has to be done in the desktop version.

Hey there! Thanks for asking.

Actually, as of now, the way it works is that in the Desktop folders you can manually arrange your playlists but in the mobile Apps, they are arranged by 'recently played'. There is no option to select the type of sorting at the moment. Feel free to go to Ideas and vote for this similar Idea.

Is there any reason why you make these differences between platforms. It's frustrating to have different functionality on the one product across different technologies.
