Desktop app totally unusable

My Question or Issue

The desktop app has slowly become totally and completely unusable. In the beginning, it was just songs that would skip past, then half of the made for you playlists would show up grey, and the other half would play 6 seconds of song, and stop saying it cant play it. then, i go uninstall, delete the spotify folders out of appdata\local and appdata\roaming, and now all of the songs show up as cant play. the Web site app works, and the phone app works.
