Desktop overlay showing when turned off in settings

Everytime I launch Spotify I need to enable and re-disable the 'Show desktop overlay when using media keys' option to get it to work. I've done it for months but it's beginning to bother me.

This is a known issue which is under investigaton by Spotify. You can check how it is going and vote for it to catch more attention to it here. Hope this gets fixed soon 🙂
