Desktop version uses too much RAM

I just installed the desktop version lately, and I find out that this application use almost 1gb of my RAM within two hours. And it's still increasing.

Although my 16G RAM can handle that but it's still annoying. I have already tried reinstall Spotify or turn off hardware acceleration. The problem is still there. It's ridiculous the music application use so large amount of RAM.

Have you tried clearing the cache?

Well...is it the cache on my computer or on my spotify?

I just use CCleaner to clean my computer. And it didn't work.
