My Question or Issue

Is it true that developers follow the issues presented here?

I'm asking because after TWO MONTHS the same problem continues.

A strange update took place in the app for windows desktop, and several features simply disappeared.

Since after two months from the first complain not a single spotify developer addressed the issue, it seems that developers simply don't know anything about this forum and what's going on here.

We've been PAYING for developers' salaries and for a service that's being taken away from us.

This is a list of features that simply don't exist anymore:

1) It's not possible anymore to alphabetically order musics, nor by album, nor by artist, nor by date of entry - ABSURD;

2) It's not possible anymore to delete more than one song at a time - ALSO ABSURD;

3) It's not possible to search anymore for a specific song within our own playlists - MAYBE THE GREATEST ABSURD OF ALL;

4) We can't see anymore what our friends are listening to;

5) We can't change our playlists' cover picture;

6) We can't edit our own playlists details (change name or correct a spelling error, for example);

7) We can't see anymore who liked our playlists - we can only see how many users liked them.

There's no way to contact a technical support. Their twitter channel is nothing but a joke, and people there simply don't know what we are talking about when we seek for help. They ask a bunch of useless questions and by the end they tell us we have been CHOSEN to test a new version and that we must wait for future changes.

And also they say that "spotify developers always follow what is being said here" - which is a big fat lie, since this issue is happening already for two months in a row.

I would consider closing my account and opening a new one on Deezer. But the truth is my main playlist has over than 9 thousand songs and I do not have nor the time nor the patience to start a new one from scratch.

What should we "the chosen ones" do about it?

Is it possible for spotify fix this problem or is this asking to much from them?

Hey there @ItzhakHotz,

Thanks for jumping in the Community with your feedback.

We can assure you that anything you have to say is being acknowledged. We appreciate the time you took to let us know about your opinion.

Although we check what users have to say, we cannot give a time frame of how quickly your post will be addressed. We ask you to bear with us until then.

Hope this sheds a bit of light on the subject!

Hey @Petya, thanks for your answer.

The thing is that the same issue have been reported several times for the past two months and nevertheless no solution was given.

We do feel adrift in the sea.

I understand you can't give us a time frame, but you may take down this awful version and restore it to the previous one.

If it is really a test, you already have your answer: absolutely no one liked it, since it's not possible to do the very basic thing we should be able to do in a library: search, locate and organize.

Take this version down. Take this upgrade down. Restore to de previous version that actually worked.

I won't give you a like, because honestly I don't think your answer helped us at all.

Have a nice day.

Theo

This certainly doesn’t shed light on the issue.

You're just avoiding the subject.

Hundreds of users already responded here to your test version. Nobody liked it.

You can now reverse to the last fully working version.

I already canceled my premium account, deleted the app from my phone, changed to Deezer. Spotify is better than Deezer, but for now Spotify managed to become the crappiest service of the internet since 1995, both for the disrespect and for this awful customer service.
