Error code 12 Windows 10

When I opened Spotify today it tried to install an updated version automatically but I received error code 12: "the computer has not enough free memory and disk space." My current memory usage is 39% and I have over 60GB of free space on my hard drive. I can't use the previous version because of the automatic update feature when I start Spotify. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but I receive the same error message. What can I do?

After uninstalling remove the folders C:\User\<User>\AppData\Local\Spotify and C:\User\<User>\AppData\Roaming\Spotify and try again.
