My Question or Issue

The volume slider for the windows version doesnt work according to expectations

Expectation:
Slider is at max, have max volume
Reality:
Volume is lower than max, fiddling with the slider fixes it(moving it back and to full)
Causes:
No idea, actual volume value seems lower than what is represented in the slider somehow? 
Occurence rate:
Basically every time the laptop wakes from sleep mode.
