Favorite song icons not showing in my playlists

Solved!

Favorite song icons not showing in my playlists

I run the Windows desktop application of Spotify. It looks like today the small green icon has changed that shows that you have added a song to your favorite songs. In this playlist and in all my others though, those icons do not show anymore:

This is my favorite songs playlist. As you can see, there are no green icons anymore showing. Instead when I hover over a song I can mark it as favorite - although it already is marked! When I go to the albums, the songs are shown as favorited there, but in all my playlist AND the favorite playlist, those icons are missing since today.

Also when I play a song from my favorite list, it shows with a green icon in the left bottom, yet it does not show in the list itself.

It's been over a year since we reported this feature missing and it's still missing. Not able to visually identify songs we've marked as favorites in a playlist. The icon needs to be a heart when its liked\favorited. Checkmark for being in a playlist. If a track is both liked and in playlists, then still show the heart. Alternatively, at least have an option to filter (only show) songs we have liked a playlist. or add a column specifically for when a track is like. it could be next to where the checkmark is.

Honestly, I can't believe this issue still hasn't been fixed. It’s baffling that on such a massive platform, I can't even mark a song as a favorite—something every other music app has had for ages. What’s even more frustrating is that this basic feature was available before you replaced it with that Plus/Checkmark nonsense! How on earth are you making these decisions, Spotify? It’s beyond frustrating!

Why is it so hard to have both? Why did the new Plus/Checkmark feature have to replace the Heart? It’s honestly frustrating—why can’t you just make both optional in the settings and let us choose which one we want to see? It feels like such a simple fix, but apparently, that's too much to ask.
