My Question or Issue

I have sorted my favorite songs by artist. When i play song it will play through them based on 'added on' time. After changing ordering again it will play them correctly until the application is closed.

Reproduction

1. Open favorite songs and sort them alphabetically by artist

2. Select a song to be played -> Correctly plays in shown order

3. Close spotify and start it again

4. Open favorite songs

5. Select a song to be played

-> Songs will be played  in 'added on' order and not as shown by artist

6. Change ordering to artist again

7. Select a song to be played -> Correctly plays in shown order

Hey there @BoringUser,

Thank you for your post here in the Community. We're happy to help.

We tried this from our end and we didn't get the same behavior.

Can you perform a clean reinstall of the app? This will make sure there's no old cache files causing this.

If that doesn't do the trick - can you try to sort your playlists from another computer to see if the issue persist?

We'll keep an eye out for your reply.

Cheers!

Live, love, laugh and listen to music 🙂

Hello, thank you for the answer.

Clean reinstall unfortunately did not fix the issue. Also I could reproduce the same behavior on a different laptop running Windows 10.

Please note, I only get this for 'Liked Songs' from 'Your Library'. For regular playlists it works for me!
