My Question or Issue

#1 question: Adding a source (downloaded mp3) from local files is for free versions as well correct? I obviously can open add a source so I would assume it's free. Just making sure!

#2 question: I've downloaded an mp3 several times, tried as much solutions as a could but many all say the same thing and none worked. Just want this one song..!! (and maybe more in the future) mp3 songs do not show up in my local files. Not sure how to get this fixed.

Hey @-4nvn_r5on5oo

Yes, adding local files is available for all, except on mobile and tablet (that's for Premium users only).

About your issue - if really nothing works, I recommend reinstalling your Spotify client.

What version of Spotify are you using? (click the menu dots - Help - About Spotify)

Sometimes some music files may have copyright protection, in this case you'll need to install Quicktime to get Spotify to play most of them.

Let me know how it goes 🙂

It didn't quite work... i re-installed spotify as well. It's alot not so clear to me how to use quicktime for that, but it's okay thanks for the help anyways!
