Google hijacking my keyboard shortcuts

My Question or Issue

On my keyboard I have volume up/down, next song and pause/play keys. I have to press my FN key for these to work. All of the keys work on spotify and always have worked. Yesterday I cleared my cache on chrome and all of a sudden my pause/play shortcut dont work when I have chrome open. Example if I have a youtube video open and I do "FN+F7(Pause/Play)" it pauses the video and not the spotify song. I've tried to look for answers, but none suit me. And no I do not have Googe Play Music extension on chrome.

Type chrome://flags/#hardware-media-key-handling in your address bar and set Hardware Media Key Handling to disabled and restart chrome.
