How can I remove forever the new useless Now Playing View trash?

We just got another problem with the windows client. Now for some weird reason we get a hideous "Now Playing View" thing that closes our friend activity every time a new track starts. It's really stupid, and I can't even understand what's that trash for.

Its really not that bad, and there's a button on the bottom right of the current song bar that collapses the menu.
