If you're iOS you'll have to click on the 3 dots and choose "Don't Play This Artist".

This will "Block" this artist from appearing on your suggestions and recommendations.

I use spotify for desktop (Windows 10), via my ipad and via my samsung phone. The options for Windows desktop just don't exist to unlike or remove from playlist.

Android has a remove from playlist option - but is this the same as "dislike" (which is supposed to inform Spotify of my tastes)? I want them to know I don't like the song - not just remove it from a specific playlist.

As a premium subscriber I find the personalisation options very basic, very confusing and different according to the platform.

Assuming that people nowadays only use one platform (ios or android, for example) rather than understanding we use a variety of platforms is very old fashioned.
