I accidentally created hundreds of playlist folders. how delete?

Apparently 5 days ago I accidentally added hundreds of playlist folders that have made my library unusuable. Trying to scroll and select multiple folders to delete them make spotify lag and crash. What can I do about this?

Unfortunately it's not possible to select multiple folders at once to clear them out. Perhaps a possible workaround would be to put as many folders as possible into another folder and then delete the parent folder to clear them all at once. This might be quicker than deleting them one at a time.

Besides that, can you let us know how this came to be? What were the exact steps that caused the folders to be created? Perhaps it's something worth investigating.
